Mastering LTE Air Interface
LTE (Long-Term Evolution, commonly marketed as 4G LTE) is a standard for wireless communication, for provision of high-speed data to mobile phones and data terminals. It is based on the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA network technologies, increasing the capacity and speed using a different radio interface together with core network improvements. Mastering LTE Air Interface course begins with the LTE E-UTRAN architecture and the air interface protocols. It then provides an in-depth explanation of the LTE frame structure, channels, and multiple antenna techniques, and describes in detail how it is possible for the LTE devices to synchronize with the network, establish connections and exchange data over the air. It also deals with the RRC connection Establishment, Mobility and Power Control. This course gives a brief summary of the LTE-Advanced Technology.
