SDN Training (Software Defined Networks)

To make cloud computing possible, SDN is one of the most fundamental cornerstone. SDN is a an essential technology to be mastered before we proceed to master other base technologies in 5G. In SDN training offered at Apeksha Telecom Servies Pvt Ltd, you will get to know in what ways SDN is changing the way how networks are managed and maintained, how routing and forwarding of packets take place and how is the communication much more secure than before.

  1.  SDN Overview
  2.  Routing and Forwarding
  3.  SDN Architecture
  4.  SDN in Action
  5.  Using SDN

Duration: 8 hrs

  1. Deliver New Services faster
  2. Virtualization
  3. Orchestration
  4. CAPEX Saving
  5. Reduced Equipment Cost
  6. Reduced Equipment Vendor “look in”
  7. OPEX Saving
  8. Increased use of Automation

What is SDN?

SDN is defined as the process of controlling the networking capabilities and making it flexible using a Centralized software.

  1. Build a transport network that could be managed from a Centralized Node.
  2. Decouple Control Plane and User plane functionality in the network devices.

Some of the characteristics of SDN include a centralized and holistic view of the entire network in the control plane with the ability to control the data plane of the entire network.

On the other hand, the data plane has been greatly simplified. Its primary role is to forward user traffic. It makes the decision of how to forward the traffic based on information and instructions received from the centralized controller.

  1. Total Cost of Ownership Reduction
  2. Capital Expense Savings
  3. Operation Expense Savings
  4. Network Agility
  5. Scalable and Flexible Network
  6. Reduced Time to Market
  7. Rapid Testing
  8. Automated Deployment
  9. Expended Vendor Ecosystem
  10. Hardware Independence
  11. APIs
